This workbook of larger print puzzles was originally developed to stimulate the reasoning skills of the brain injured population through utilization of a more interesting and less stressful format.
Each of these three sections offers different types of puzzles and progresses from simple to more challenging. This workbook is especially suitable for those who had a previous interest in puzzles but must resume at an easier level. In addition to the advantage of accomplishing a variety of therapeutic goals, these activities may encourage a new leisure time activity.
Frequently those with increased cognitive impairments are unable do the puzzles they previously enjoyed and find these puzzles something that is more appropriate to their current level of functioning. There is no particular order to be followed so a puzzle or word game can be selected according to a person’s interests or capabilities.
